The First Nematocidal Ryegrass

Cannibal is the first tetraploid Italian ryegrass with anti-nematode properties. This means that it not only produces high quantities of forage but also helps to control the development of nematodes present in cereals (Heterodera avenae), which can reduce vegetation in spring. Cannibal guarantees and stands out for its high-quality and high-yield dry matter production. It achieves excellent results that satisfy growers in various regions. Robust and efficient in terms of “protection” as well, Cannibal is an excellent forage solution in rotation with cereals for autumn sowing.

One of the reasons it is so appreciated and well-known is its trouble-free growth: it develops rapidly and exhibits excellent resistance to fungal diseases. The optimal seeding rate per hectare is 50 kg.
