Regenerate Stable Meadows

Mixture properly composed to be used on already established meadows but in need of overseeding to increase the density of the grass cover. It consists of grasses only to contain excessive development and propagation of clovers.


Composition: Tall Fescue, Meadow Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, Italian Ryegrass, Hybrid Ryegrass

Agronomic indications

Use: hay, pasture
Cultivation Areas: north-central-south Italy up to 1000 meters above sea level
Soil Type: any with pH ranging from 6 to 7.5
Seed Rate: 50 – 60 kg/Ha; for overseeding existing meadows 25 – 30 kg/Ha
Sowing Period: September, February-March

Cultural Recommendations

Soil Preparation: surface tillage, fine soil on the surface
Soil Preparation for Overseeding: pass with a tooth harrow on the existing sod; at the end of the vegetative cycle of the meadow, sow, pass with the tooth harrow again, and roll
Optimal Sowing Depth: 0.5 – 1 cm
Fertilization: based on the availability of organic inputs (manure, digestate)
Autumn Needs: N 30/40 units/Ha; P2 O5 50/60 units/Ha; K2 O 50/60 units/Ha
Spring Needs: N 60/70 units/Ha
