This is the first nematocidal Italian ryegrass as it not only produces high quantities of forage but also limits the development of nematodes present in cereals and corn (Heterodera avenae, Source: CTPS Cannibal registration). Cannibal is an ideal variety to be sown prior to the mentioned crops. It has very rapid plant development and high dry matter yields.
It offers greater harvesting flexibility due to its tardiness.
