Squarrosum clover is a species suitable for Mediterranean climates but also resistant to colder temperatures.
It is a non-regrowing plant and produces only one cut.
Compared to other clovers, squarrosum has a tall size and is more leafy, providing a greater yield in green mass.
The most suitable use for this forage legume is in association with other grasses to obtain forage rich in protein and fiber.
It can also be used as a Cover Crop plant thanks to the biomass produced and the nitrogen fixation action in the soil.
